Creative Camp kicked off on quickly Sunday night with 10 middle school-aged girls as we moved our belongings into Trask Cabin and immediately started to get to know each other! Around the campfire at our evening Vespers, we discussed the labels that make us who we are (daughter, sister, friend, athlete, student). HOWEVER, we decided that this week we were only going to focus on one label: LOVED BY GOD!

Monday started with a challenge on the high ropes course, but ended with loads of fun as the girls expressed their creativity by tie-dying T-shirts and learning lines for their group skits.

Tuesday, we had a lot of fun in the sun on the inflatable waterslide and in the pool. The fun only continued with Grand Fam, the all-camp rally, where all the girls wore their newly tie-dyed shirts! #twinning! They ended the day in true camp fashion by performing their skits and making banana boats over the fire!

As we take on Wednesday, we will begin the day with our Lead Wrangler “Riggs” on a horse trail ride, and we will complete a photography lesson with an AWESOME built-in nature photo scavenger hunt!

I am so excited for all the fun to come at the end of the week! Painting, prayer stations, cookie decorating, singing, more drama performances, and reminding each camper they’re LOVED BY GOD are just a few things left in store!
