Scripture, Saddles & Sunscreen: Horse Camp Done Right

My goal this week was to give these kids a place where they could be themselves, find new friends, and learn more about horses. I am so blessed that you shared your kids with us for a week, and I’m excited to share with you a little bit about what they’ve been up to.

There have been games, singing, swimming, card gaming – and of course – horse riding. Seeing these campers light up when we’re on our way to horses has been so much fun. This group has grown very close in just four days, and that shows in the conversations they are having, and the memories they are sharing.

Your kids had fun this week, and that's a big part of what we do. We hammocked, went down slip and slides, made up word games, danced, sang, and pretended to be horses about 47 times.

I have also had the opportunity to share the Word of God with them every night, and they have been incredible listeners of that Word. The questions they have asked, and the engagement in those sacred times has been amazing, and I’m just glad to be apart of it.

Walking out the life of Jesus with your kids has been a blessing, so truly I thank you for bringing them here.
